CEREC 1-Visit Crowns

CEREC dental restorations offers a quick, accurate, and safe way to restore teeth with crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, fillings and more. As a healthier option, this procedure uses ceramic material that is durable and easy to bond to the existing tooth structure. The CEREC procedure is completed in one visit – only one to two hours. With CEREC technology, dental work that once required multiple visits can be completed and placed in a single easy appointment without the need to rely on temporary solutions.

What is CEREC Technology?

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. It is a method of restoring your teeth right in the office using computer-aided design and manufacturing technology! Using CEREC technology, we can fabricate crowns, inlays/onlays, fixed bridges, dental implants, dentures, and other dental solutions. While a patient's eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis, many people appreciate the convenience, accuracy, and efficiency that CEREC technology brings.


The CEREC process consists of three steps:


  • Scan: First, we will numb and prepare the tooth that requires restoration. We will then scan or make an impression of your mouth, taking extra care to make sure that we have a good impression.
  • Preparation: Our team will use specialized software to design a model of your specific reconstruction, which will be custom-made for your teeth and mouth. The design specifications will then be relayed to our specialized milling or grinding equipment to create the restoration. Fabrication only takes a few hours!
  • Installation: Our team will place the completed restoration piece into your mouth and make the necessary adjustments to ensure it will remain in place. If necessary, the restoration will be bonded to your tooth.

Invisalign
Invisalign is an attractive alternative to braces. Using computer imaging technology, we’ll complete a treatment plan of customized clear aligners to move your teeth in increments of two weeks.
